Synopsis
WEB The Alchemist is a Malayalam movie based on the novel of the same name by Paulo Coelho. The movie follows the journey of a young shepherd named Santiago who leaves his homeland in Spain to follow his dream of finding a treasure buried near the Pyramids of Egypt. Along the way, he meets a variety of characters who help him to learn about the world and himself.
The movie was directed by M. Padmakumar and stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Santiago. The movie was released in India on 24 February 2017.
