Breaking News: McGregor Returns to UFC in Main Event at UFC 303

The biggest star in mixed martial arts, Conor McGregor, will make his long-awaited return to the Octagon at UFC 303 during International Fight Week in Las Vegas. McGregor will face his former Ultimate Fighter coaching rival, Michael Chandler, in the main event of the card.
McGregor has not fought since his loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. The Irishman has been recovering from a leg injury suffered in that fight. Chandler, meanwhile, has won two straight fights since his loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 262 in May 2021.
The UFC 303 main card will also feature a rematch between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira for the UFC middleweight championship. Adesanya lost to Pereira in a kickboxing match in 2016 and again in an MMA fight in 2017.
UFC 303 will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, June 18. The main card will start at 4:00 PM PDT.
